Chromograph 01

Chromograph 01
2019
Artwork

The Chromograph in its original form is a color-changing, abstract, analog clock coded in Processing.

Chromograph 01 is a 60 minute long looping video derived from that code, with the colors limited to a range between Yellow and Orange.

The video comprises 108,000 individual frames, all of which have been deleted. Due to certain randomizing functions in the Chromograph code, any attempt to repeat the steps to create a new video would yield a different result.

Made with Processing and After Effects.

What Lies Ahead
2019
Artwork

The occasionally twisting and turning path of life, represented by the visually striking carpet pattern from The Shining which alludes to the bizarre situations we might find ourselves in along the way, moving towards a future that always remains partially shrouded in darkness.

Artwork

An intimate depiction of the curves and shapes of the open source typeface Plex.
The glyphs' varying scale, crop and rotation puts them in a decontextualized state where they exist simply to be admired in this ever-changing matrix of positive and negative forms.

iPhone App

The app version of BIG-ASS MESSAGE.

B.A.M. was a first of its kind app that let you create text messages in the form of fun, expressive GIFs for use in conversations and sharing online.

The app is currently not in the App Store due to lack of maintenance, but the plan is to bring it back sometime in 2019.

Branding

Pinferno was a highly regarded pinball tournament that used to take place in NYC on rare occasions.

‘Not Your PAPA's’ was an in-joke that would not be funny if I tried to explain it.
